The wax carving workshop was such a joy—perfect for a solo creative outlet or a fun experience with a friend. As someone who loves to make art, I really appreciated the balance of creative freedom and the option for clear, guided instruction. Whether you prefer to explore independently or follow step-by-step direction, this workshop allows for both.
Jack and Milly patiently support you with their gentle and lighthearted approach, providing guidance with whatever you’d like to make, and are conscious and aware of individual needs and ideas/hopes.
The whole process was fascinating, fun, exploratory, dynamic, and full of opportunities for creative expression. I’m completely obsessed with wax carving now—I just want to go back every day.

This workshop was incredible. To start with the space was beautiful- the studio was lovely and airy with lots of natural light, great tunes and vibes. Jack was an awesome teacher, providing super clear instructions and demonstrations at each stage so it never felt overwhelming. He was so welcoming and patient, working with me to plan out a design and guide me through the process of creating it. Though I was creating something a bit different to the rest of the group I felt supported and encouraged. I really loved the balance of being given a lot of creative independence and opportunity to trial and error, while having Jack’s direction and hands on skill when I got stuck to ensure I walked away having made something I was really proud of. Beyond the content of the workshop, Jack was so helpful on sharing information and tips about how you can continue to create custom jewellery using wax carving techniques at home, which I am very excited to try. I cannot wait to get my new ring and cannot wait to make more! Thank you again for such an awesome experience.

My sister and I loved this Our Folk workshop, great way to spend a Saturday morning. Jack & Milly were wondeful teachers and I'm obsessed with my new signet ring 🌼 Highly recommend!!
