Jewellery Care & Materials

Our Folks jewellery is made with Australian sourced precious metals (925 Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold, and others) from ethical suppliers.

Our Jewellery is water, sweat, and rust-proof, giving you peace of mind to wear it daily - though remember to clean and polish it regularly.

925 STERLING SILVER

Known for its durability and timeless appeal, keep your sterling silver shining bright by:

  • Cleaning Regularly: Polish with a soft cloth to remove any tarnish. For a thorough clean, use a small amount of natural soap, warm water, and a soft toothbrush.
  • Storage Safely: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.

9ct Gold

Classic and elegant, 9ct gold maintains its luster with proper care:

  • Clean Gently: Use warm, soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.

In addition to the above, here are some general notes to protect your jewellery:

  • If you are planning to store your jewellery for a long period of time (eg for a few months or years) we recommend storing in an airtight container.
  • Protect your jewellery from chemicals. This includes removing your jewellery when doing household tasks such as gardening or cleaning, and removing when applying make-up, hair spray, perfumes etc...

With these simple steps, your jewellery will continue to shine bright for years to come!

Returns & Refunds

Our Folk prides itself on making great Jewellery, as such we will endeavour to make sure your product is exactly what you're after. As all our jewellery is made by hand, each piece is individual and therefore slight alterations from the images shown on the website may occur.

RINGS RE-SIZING

If you receive a ring in the wrong size, return it within 14 days. Contact us and we will take steps to make sure it is the perfect fit.

RETURNS

Refunds are available for product faults in the materials used. Contact us within 14 days and we will work with you to explore options.

Refunds are not available for a change of mind. However, Store credit is available for unforeseen circumstances within 30 days, provided the piece is returned in its original condition and packaging.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free returns, and customers will be responsible for return shipping costs. 

CUSTOMS/IMPRESSIONS

We do not offer returns for custom projects, sale or impression items. However, we can make minor changes to meet your needs (shipping at customers expense).

Workshops Details

ACCESSIBILITY

Our jewellery studio is conveniently located in the Maker's Studio in Fremantle at Stackwood, offering free parking on-site and ample street parking.

Due to the age of the building, there are no disability toilets. There is one 13 centimeter step upon entry.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us to see how we can make the space accessible for everyone.

REFUNDS

All ticket purchases are fully refundable if cancellation is made anytime 10 days prior to workshop commencement.

within 9-2 days of workshop date, we can offer a re-scheduled class, or store credit.

If you are unable to make the class, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place!

Exceptions will be granted for unforeseen circumstances.

Finding your ring size

1. Using string, wrap it snugly around the base of the finger.
2. Mark the point where the string overlaps.
3. Carefully measure the string length, recording the measurement in millimeters.
